Baseball Recap: Lake Oswego Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Lake Oswego had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 3-0 victory over the Oregon City Pioneers. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 1-0 victory on Wednesday.

Not much got past Rylan McClaskey, who gave up just two hits to keep Oregon City off the board. McClaskey has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Lake Oswego's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Will Radziwon, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one RBI.

Lake Oswego's victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Oregon City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.
