Tatnall Wins 18th-Straight Thanks to Chris Gordon

Tatnall picked up their 18th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Chris Gordon. Gordon produced his best game of the campaign : he picked up 205 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Perhaps even more impressive was his lead-up to Friday's game, in which he outscored his previous point total for three consecutive games.

Tatnall's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Gordon and Tatnall will head out to take on DuPont at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Juan Aldas Leads Wilmington Charter over St. Elizabeth

Wilmington Charter was led to victory by Juan Aldas, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Saturday. Aldas picked up a sack and made 16 total tackles (3.0 for loss), good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

If history really does repeat itself, Aldas might just drop another big game when he faces off against Delcastle Technical on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Aldas saw the Cougars), he picked up two sacks, forced a fumble, and made 15 total tackles (4.0 for loss).

Smith Posts Huge Game in 25-12 Loss

Glasgow had to settle for second on Friday, but Jamar Smith sure wasn't going down easily. Nobody could stop Smith as he rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 90 yards.

Glasgow's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6. Smith and Glasgow will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on DuPont at 6:00 p.m. on October 25th.

Quinn De Viere and Co. Win 18th in a Row

Quinn De Viere was instrumental in extending Tatnall's winning streak to 18 on Friday. De Viere threw for 342 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 14.3 yards per attempt, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long.

For the year, De Viere has thrown 13 touchdowns while averaging 146.5 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 1.67 passing yards per game.

Jude Maycole Turns in Season-Best Effort

Jude Maycole's big game helped extend Tatnall's winning streak to 18 on Friday. Maycole picked up 109 receiving yards and two touchdowns, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 66 yards.

This year, Maycole has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 37.3 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 16 receiving yards per game.
