While Kennedy put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Poly. The Cougars blew past the Parrots 11-0. That 11 run margin sets a new team best for the Cougars this season.

Anais Perez looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Sofia Melgoza was incredible, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 2-for-3. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Leah Magallanes was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

Kennedy lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

The victory got Kennedy back to even at 6-6. As for Poly, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
