Football Recap: Monticello Mustangs vs. Waynesboro Little Giants

Monticello won the last time they faced Waynesboro, and things went their way on Friday too. The Monticello Mustangs breezed by the Waynesboro Little Giants at home to the tune of 54-22. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-6.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Monticello to victory, but perhaps none more so than Owen Engel, who threw for 186 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes. Jaiden Walker helped Engel out on the ground, rushing for 72 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries.
