Tyler Simmons put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April of 2024 on Tuesday. He struck out five batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in six consecutive appearances.
