Basketball Game Preview: Pace Academy Knights vs. Jackson Jaguars

Pace Academy has won eight straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Jackson has won eight straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Pace Academy Knights will welcome the Jackson Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Saturday, Pace Academy beat South Gwinnett 65-55.

Eric Chatfield continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 6 for 9 from beyond the arc on his way to 26 points and five steals. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chandler Bing, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Jackson rang in the new year with a 72-64 win over Riverwood on Saturday.

Pace Academy's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Jackson, their win bumped their record up to 10-2.
