Seminole Ridge extended their home winning streak to seven games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Aubrey Fogel. The Seminole Ridge Hawks walked away with an 18-7 victory over the Homestead Broncos on Friday with plenty of help from Fogel, who threw for 233 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of her passes. Fogel is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: she's passed for at least three every time she's taken the field this season.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Seminole Ridge's defense and their three sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Lily Von-Purkyne.

Despite the loss, Homestead still got an impressive performance from Caitylyn Gibson, who picked up 149 receiving yards and one touchdown. Those 149 receiving yards gave Gibson a new career-high. Jerniyah Fowles was another key player, having thrown for 261 yards and onetouchdown.

Seminole Ridge's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Homestead, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Seminole Ridge didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 20-8 loss against Central on the 13th. As for Homestead, they have also already played their next contest, a 41-0 victory against Keys Gate on the 11th.
