Basketball Recap: Monarch Comes Up Short

Monarch lost against Coral Springs Charter back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Monarch Knights were beaten by the Coral Springs Charter Panthers 62-13. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Monarch's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Coral Springs Charter, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Monarch will face off against Pompano Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Monarch is facing Pompano Beach at the right time seeing as Pompano Beach is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Coral Springs Charter, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Coral Springs Charter Panthers challenge the Chaminade-Madonna Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chaminade-Madonna has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
