Softball Recap: Laughlin Drops Season-High Score on Tonopah

Laughlin made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Tonopah, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Laughlin Cougars came out on top against the Tonopah Muckers on Saturday by a score of 20-5 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The Cougars' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The victory got Laughlin back to even at 2-2. As for Tonopah, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coincidentally, Laughlin and Tonopah will both be playing Sandy Valley the next time they take the field. Laughlin will head out to face Sandy Valley at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Tonopah will head out to face them at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
