Glendale hasn't had much luck against Homer-Center recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. While Glendale ultimately came up short, they really made Purchase Line work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 18-25, 25-15, 25-23.

Glendale might have lost, but man, Rachel McClellan was a machine: she had 29 kills. McClellan has been hot, having posted seven or more kills the last eight times she's played. Another player making a difference was Hannah Matish, who had 25 assists.
Meanwhile, Homer-Center didn't have quite enough to beat Purchase Line on Monday and fell 3-2.
In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Homer-Center sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 20-25, 25-18, 20-25, 15-11.
Glendale will have to contain Bella Tamburrino as she made an impact in Homer-Center's last game. She had 22 digs.
Homer-Center's loss dropped their record down to 10-12-1. As for Glendale, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-14-1.
