Volleyball Recap: Western Christian Picks Up Tenth Consecutive Win

Western Christian had already won nine in a row and they went ahead and made it ten on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Southlands Christian Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Fighting Lancers also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

While Western Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-20, 25-22.

Jacob Roberts paced Western Christian's offense, picking up 13 kills. Roberts got some help from Mack Kurth and his 21 assists. Carter Doolittle controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Western Christian's win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-5. As for Southlands Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

Coincidentally, Western Christian and Southlands Christian will both be playing Calvary Chapel the next time they take the court. The Fighting Lancers will head out to face the Grizzlies at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
