Football Game Preview: Northwest vs. Norborne/Hardin-Central

Northwest will challenge Norborne/Hardin-Central on the road at Norborne on Friday. Norborne/Hardin-Central will need to watch out since Northwest have now posted big point totals in their last four contests.

Northwest had a rough outing against Orrick three weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Northwest snuck past North Nodaway/West Nodaway with a 42-38 victory. Senior Connor Tichenor was the offensive standout of the match for Northwest, as he passed for 228 yards and 3 touchdowns. Tichenor has now scored at least one touchdown in the past six games.

Meanwhile, after a disappointing eight points in their last match, Norborne/Hardin-Central made sure to put some points up on the board against Chilhowee/Leeton last Friday. Norborne/Hardin-Central put a hurting on Chilhowee/Leeton to the tune of 84-38.the rankings were on Norborne/Hardin-Central's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result

Their wins bumped Northwest to 3-3 and Norborne/Hardin-Central to 4-2. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Norborne/Hardin-Central and Northwest will really light up the scoreboard.
