Baseball Recap: Boise Takes a Loss

Boise's last matchup with Middleton could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Friday. The Brave lost 13-1 to the Vikings. The defeat continues a trend for the Brave in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost five in a row.

Boise saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Tommack, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Boise's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Middleton, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Boise will take on rival Mountain View at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Middleton is set to square off against their familiar foe Borah at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
