Basketball Recap: Coral Park Finds Playoff Glory Versus Braddock

It's playoff time, and Coral Park had no trouble coming through when it counted. They strolled past the Braddock Bulldogs with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 78-59. The Rams have beaten the Bulldogs the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Bulldogs has come to flipping the script.

Coral Park found their leader in sophomore Noah Lara, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and ten boards. Lara has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Perez, who shot 67% from the field on his way to 19 points.

Coral Park's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Braddock, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.

Coral Park didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-52 defeat against Southridge on the 5th. Braddock does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
