Basketball Recap: Union County Takes a Loss

Union County lost against Madisonville-North Hopkins back in January of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Union County Braves took a 73-69 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Wednesday (62), the Braves still had to take the loss.

Union County's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Madisonville-North Hopkins, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-11.

Union County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Madisonville-North Hopkins, they will take on Henderson County in a tournament on March 18th. One thing working in Henderson County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
