Football Game Recap: Santa Fe Indian vs. St. Michael's

St. Michael's were fully in charge on Saturday, breezing past Santa Fe Indian 54-7. Followers of St. Michael's probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.

St. Michael's started the match off right with 33 first-half points. Santa Fe Indian wasn't quite able to keep up, scoring 7 to make it 33-7 heading into the break. St. Michael's put the contest away in the third quarter with 14 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week St. Michael's take on West Las Vegas at 7:00 PM. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a win streak alive as St. Michael's skips in on four wins and West Las Vegas on three. As for Santa Fe Indian, they will face off against Raton. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
