Baseball Recap: Mid-Carolina Comes Up Short

Mid-Carolina blew Camden out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Camden got their revenge. The Rebels fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 4-2. The Rebels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

Mid-Carolina's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Camden, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mid-Carolina will square off against Spring Valley at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Rebels surely won't give up without a fight. As for Camden, they will take on Newberry at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday.
