Volleyball Recap: Western Victorious

Western posted their closest win since October 16, 2024 on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Notre Dame Titans 2-1.

Alessandra Bernaola paced Western's offense, picking up 12 kills. Bernaola really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 15. Finally, Alexandra Caro kept Western's defense grounded, leading the team with seven blocks.

Western's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Notre Dame, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-17.

Western didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Eisenhower on the 13th. As for Notre Dame, they will head out to take on Rim of the World at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
