Volleyball Recap: Chaffey Tigers vs. Don Lugo Conquistadores
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ontario, Chaffey was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Don Lugo Conquistadores 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tigers have posted since September 8th.
Chaffey wouldn't go down easily and took Don Lugo into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-6, 27-25, 18-25, 15-9.
Chloe Romero paced Chaffey's offense, picking up 15 kills. Romero got some help from Bryce Argueta and her 45 assists. Argueta was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.
