Volleyball Recap: Alta Comes Up Short

Alta's tournament run continued when they took on Faith Lutheran on Friday. The Hawks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crusaders. The game marked the first time this year in which the Hawks were not able to get on the board.

Faith Lutheran was led to victory by Ellee Ford and K Sawyer. Ford had 12 digs and three aces, while Sawyer had 12 assists and four digs. That's the most assists Sawyer has posted over her last six matches.

Alta's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Faith Lutheran, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-3.

Alta has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Moanalua on the 23rd. As for Faith Lutheran, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Chaparral on the 22nd.
