Basketball Recap: Waukegan Beats Taft for Their Fourth Straight Win

Waukegan extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Hadassah Brown. The Waukegan Bulldogs were the clear victor by a 56-34 margin over the Taft Eagles on Friday thanks in part to Brown, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten boards. Her evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Alliaya Cade was another key player, putting up ten points and six assists. Cade is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Waukegan has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.4 points per game. As for Taft, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-15.
