It's playoff time, and Rankin had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Water Valley Wildcats by a score of 54-46 on Saturday. The victory was familiar territory for the Red Devils, who have now won eight contests in a row.

It was another big night for Matthew Ramos, who rushed for 202 yards and five TDs while picking up 8.4 yards per carry. Those five rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Kayin Hanna was another key player, gaining 95 total yards and a touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Rankin was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 254 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 179 rushing yards in nine consecutive games.

Rankin's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Water Valley, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 13-1.

As of now, neither Rankin nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
