Mt. Spokane is a perfect 10-0 against University since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Wildcats will face off against the Titans at 7:00 p.m. University took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Mt. Spokane, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Mt. Spokane made easy work of Shadle Park and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Highlanders: they've now won six in a row.

While Mt. Spokane won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-22, 25-17.

Meanwhile, University lost 3-0 to Freeman on Tuesday.

While University was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18, 25-23.

Mt. Spokane's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for University, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

Mt. Spokane took their victory against University when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
