After flying high against Climax Springs last Tuesday, Montrose came back down to earth. The Montrose Blue Jays lost 17-8 to the Sherwood Marksmen on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Blue Jays in their matchups with the Marksmen: they've now lost six in a row.

Kaylee Mott and Lainee Swaters stepped up to the plate in a big way. Mott scored two runs while going 3-for-4, while Swaters went 2-for-4 with a triple, a run, and a double.
