Recap: Summit Classical Christian School Archers vs. Crosspoint Warriors
This season hasn't been kind to the Summit Classical Christian School Archers, who are still winless after their sixth match. They were beaten by Crosspoint 51-7 on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Summit Classical Christian School has scored all season.
Leading Crosspoint to victory were Riya Tobosa and Momoyo Iwata. Tobosa dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds, while Iwata scored six points along with seven steals and five assists. Tobosa continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Katy Kuske, who scored six points along with four steals.
Summit Classical Christian School's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-6. As for Crosspoint, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-2.
Summit Classical Christian School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Crosspoint will look to defend their home court on Monday against Rainier Christian at 5:30 p.m. Rainier Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while Crosspoint is ranked 50th).
