Basketball Recap: Ichabod Crane Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lansingburgh last Monday, Ichabod Crane came back down to earth. The Ichabod Crane Riders were outmatched by the Broadalbin-Perth Patriots and fell 67-37. While losing is never fun, the Riders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 378th in New York, while the Patriots are ranked 50th in New York).

Ichabod Crane's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Broadalbin-Perth, they pushed their record up to 19-1 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Ichabod Crane does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Broadalbin-Perth, they will face off against Scotia-Glenville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Broadalbin-Perth's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.
