Basketball Recap: McKinley Comes Up Short

McKinley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a blow against the Springfield Tigers, falling 54-23. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-9.

McKinley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Springfield, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McKinley will head out to square off against Bloomfield at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. McKinley is facing Bloomfield at the right time seeing as Bloomfield is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Springfield, they are taking a road trip to take on Mineral Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
