Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Fairview walked away with it. They enjoyed a cozy 28-13 victory over the Jacksonville Golden Eagles on Friday. The Aggies' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Jake Harper was his usual excellent self, rushing for 197 yards and three TDs while picking up 7.0 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September.

Fairview didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Jace Stevens.

Despite the loss, Jacksonville still got an impressive performance from Kamouri Harmon, who rushed for 83 yards on only nine carries, and also threw for 29 yards and one touchdown.

Fairview's victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Jacksonville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

Fairview wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 16-14 loss against Scottsboro on the 20th. Jacksonville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
