Softball Recap: Ewing Blue Devils vs. East Brunswick Bears

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Ewing ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the East Brunswick Bears 13-12. For the Blue Devils, this counts as revenge for the 5-2 victory the Bears walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Emily Gamboa Ordini was a standout: she went 2-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Peyton Hansbury, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI.
