Football Game Preview: Lancaster Tigers vs. Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes + How To Watch

Lancaster is 0-3 against Duncanville since August of 2018 but things could change on Friday. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Panthers and Pantherettes at 7:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Friday.

Lancaster is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed past Skyline to the tune of 55-0 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Duncanville faced DeSoto in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Panthers and Pantherettes were the clear victors by a 48-28 margin over the Eagles. The Panthers and Pantherettes pushed the score to 42-20 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles cut but never quite recovered from.

Lancaster better keep an eye on Maximus The Great Denson. He was instrumental in Duncanville's win, throwing for 342 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 74.2% of his passes. Thanks to that big game, Denson is now up to 15 passing touchdowns on the season. Duncanville's leading receiver Ayson Theus was Denson's top target yet again, picking up 113 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Duncanville's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. Landon Barnes refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself. Duncanville got some further help from Dylan Williams: he picked up a sack, made ten total tackles (2.0 for loss), and defended one pass.

The win got Lancaster back to even at 3-3. As for Duncanville, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
