Marcus won the last time they faced Grapevine and things went their way on Thursday too. The Marcus Marauders never let the Grapevine Mustangs get on the board and left with a 14-0 win. The Marauders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by six runs or more this season.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Marcus, bringing their record for this year to 8-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Grapevine, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.

Marcus will square off against Trinity at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Marcus is facing Trinity at the right time seeing as Trinity is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Grapevine, they will face off against Forney at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Grapevine is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.
