Volleyball Recap: Josey Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Josey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Burke County Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-1, 25-4.

Cheyenne Queen was the offensive standout of the match as she had eight aces and five assists. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2 aces per game.

Josey's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Burke County, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-1.

Coincidentally, Josey and Burke County will both be playing Butler the next time they take the court. The Bears will head out to face the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
