Basketball Recap: Maud Takes a Loss

Maud was the 76-56 winner over Clarksville when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Maud Cardinals fell just short of the Clarksville Tigers by a score of 53-51 on Tuesday. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Maud's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Clarksville, their win bumped their record up to 16-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maud will welcome Detroit at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Clarksville, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Clarksville Tigers take on the Leverett's Chapel Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
