Baseball Recap: Lincoln High Comes Up Short

Lincoln High was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Lincoln Southeast Knights, falling 9-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Links of the 18-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Lincoln High saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peter Elias-Martinez, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Lincoln High's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Lincoln Southeast, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-16.

As of now, neither Lincoln High nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
