Holly's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Manzanola Bobcats as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Bobcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Holly never let Manzanola on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-11, 25-11.
The win got Holly back to even at 1-1. As for Manzanola, they are on a 25-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
Holly and Manzanola will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Wildcats will square off against rival Walsh at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Manzanola is set to take on their familiar foe La Veta at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
