 Scott waltzed into their matchup  on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victor by  a  12-1 margin over the Colby Eagles. With that  victory, Scott brought their scoring average up to 6.8  runs per game.
 Scott got a  massive  performance out of  Malorie Cupp, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of  Crissa Irvin, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 On Colby's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Ryler Carter, who  went 1-for-3 with a  double.
 Scott's win was  their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 3-2. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 16.5 runs per game. As for Colby, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-3.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Scott beat Colby by a score of  8-7 later that day.
