            Volleyball Recap: Highland Fighting Scots vs. Ontario Warriors        
        
		
        
        
            Highland proved they can win big  on Tuesday (they won by three) and  on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Ontario Warriors  3-2. The  victory was nothing new for the Fighting Scots as they're now sitting on five straight.
 Highland had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 17-25, 25-22, 25-11,  15-8.

Highland had a senior duo take command as  MaKaylee Merckling  had 25  digs and four  aces and  Riley Walker  had 13  digs and two  aces. Merckling has been hot for a while, having  posted 12 or more  digs the last 12 times she's  played.
 Highland  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 12  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least nine  aces in five consecutive  contests.
Highland's win bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Ontario, they moved to 12-8 with that  defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.
