Volleyball Recap: Loyola Academy Gets the Win

Loyola Academy won the last time they faced Lake Forest and things went their way on Friday too. The Ramblers won by a set and slipped past the Scouts 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Ramblers.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Loyola Academy got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-14, 15-25, 15-8.

Loyola Academy's win bumped their record up to 14-16. As for Lake Forest, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-22.

Coincidentally, Loyola Academy and Lake Forest will both be playing Deerfield the next time they take the court. The Scouts will head out to face the Warriors at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, while the Ramblers will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
