Basketball Recap: Wesleyan Comes Up Short

Wesleyan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 62-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Whitefield Academy WolfPack.

Despite the loss, Wesleyan still got an impressive performance from Connor Morehouse, who went 7 for 12 on his way to 19 points and seven rebounds. Ralph Sanders was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Wesleyan's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Whitefield Academy, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wesleyan will host The Weber School at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Whitefield Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Paideia at 7:30 p.m.
