Football Recap: St. Cloud Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 35 points the game before, St. Cloud was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were dealt a 44-7 defeat at the hands of the Osceola Kowboys. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 269th, while the Kowboys are ranked 37th).

Jeremiah Lattier threw for 257 yards and one touchdown. Bryce Anthony Oraine Williams was his top target, picking up 119 receiving yards and one TD.

Osceola's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaxson Hardnett, who rushed for 69 yards and one score. Jeffrey Sinophat was in the mix as well, providing the Kowboys with two TDs.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Cloud fell to 3-1. As for Osceola, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Cloud will take on Merritt Island at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Mustangs have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games. As for Osceola, they will challenge Jones at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Kowboys 7.5, the Fightin' Tigers 12) so any points scored will be well earned.
