Baseball Recap: Asbury Comes Up Short

Asbury lost against Elkmont last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Asbury Rams came up short against the Elkmont Red Devils, falling 20-1. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Asbury's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Elkmont, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Asbury will host Kate Duncan Smith DAR at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Elkmont, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Athens Bible at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Elkmont knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Athens Bible likes a good challenge.
