Christian Brothers Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Albany Falcons on Sunday as the Christian Brothers Academy Brothers made off with a 61-40 win. The Brothers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Christian Brothers Academy found their leader in sophomore Jj Osinski, who shot 53% from the field to rack up 25 points and six rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Osinski has scored at least a third of Christian Brothers Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Jack Donohue, who went 5-for-7 on his way to 12 points.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Christian Brothers Academy, bringing their record for this year to 14-6. As for Albany, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-7.

Looking ahead, Christian Brothers Academy will challenge Green Tech at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Green Tech knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Christian Brothers Academy likes a good challenge. Albany does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
