Preview: Valley Christian Defenders vs. Heritage Christian Warriors
Valley Christian is 1-9 against Heritage Christian since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Valley Christian Defenders will look to defend their home court against the Heritage Christian Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Valley Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 219th, while Heritage Christian is ranked 42nd).
Last Friday, Valley Christian came up short against Maranatha and fell 53-42. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Valley Christian has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Heritage Christian waltzed into their contest on Saturday with four straight wins but they left with five. They walked away with a 63-54 victory over Grant.
Valley Christian's defeat was their tenth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 13-11. As for Heritage Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.
