Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Zoe Janke and Keira Schmidt Lead Bergan Catholic to Victory

Bergan Catholic not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 25th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Weeping Water Indians as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Bergan Catholic was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-11, 25-11.

Leading Bergan Catholic to victory were Keira Schmidt and Zoe Janke. Schmidt had seven digs and six aces, while Janke had 14 digs. Those six aces gave Schmidt a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Bergan Catholic was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Bergan Catholic's record now sits at 21-12. As for Weeping Water, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-26.
