After losing to Lancaster the last time they met, Hesperia decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Scorpions walked away with an 11-6 victory over the Eagles on Tuesday.

Hesperia's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Lancaster, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Coming up, Hesperia will venture away from home to challenge Burroughs at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The Burros' pitching crew has only allowed 1.7 runs per game this season, so the Scorpions' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Lancaster, they are taking a road trip to square off against Antelope Valley at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Antelopes will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
