After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hawthorne Math & Science Academy, Alliance Bloomfield was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past the Maywood CES Wolfpack 15-14. This was payback for the Bulls, who suffered a 19-15 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Alliance Bloomfield is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.6 runs over those games. As for Maywood CES, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Looking ahead, Alliance Bloomfield is taking a road trip to challenge Los Angeles Leadership Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Maywood CES, they will take on Marquez at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Gladiators will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something the Wolfpack surely won't give up without a fight.
