Soccer Recap: Circle Falls Short of Cair Paravel in the Playoffs

Circle and Cair Paravel squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Circle had to settle for second. They lost 6-2 to the Lions. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Circle were already down 5-2.

Circle has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11-1 record this season. As for Cair Paravel, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.

Circle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cair Paravel, they will take on Berean Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Berean Academy's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
