Football Game Recap: Sioux City North vs. Jefferson

After having lost a blowout to Sioux City West in their previous game, Jefferson was happy to find some success on Friday. Jefferson captured a comfortable 99-81 win over Sioux City North. The success represented a nice turnaround for Jefferson, who in their last game suffered a tough 7-34 loss.

Jefferson's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 57 points in the first half. Sioux City North came up with 21 to make it 57-21 heading into the break. Jefferson were outperformed in the second half 42-60 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the contest. The match brought them to 0-1 and dropped Sioux City North to a mirror-image 1-0.

Jefferson are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Denison-Schleswig next week at 7:00 PM. As for Sioux City North, they will face off against Sioux City West.
