After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Jackson Prep, Bogue Chitto was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Wilkinson County Wildcats by a score of 51-39. The Bobcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Wilkinson County lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being D'Yonna McCoy, who scored 14 points along with three steals. McCoy has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Oralieshia Smith, who earned 12 points plus eight rebounds and three steals.
The victory got Bogue Chitto back to even at 3-3. As for Wilkinson County, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
