This week, North Star and Augusta square off against each other on Saturday at 1:00 PM. Neither team wants a repeat from last game, where each was handed a considerable defeat.
North Star simply didn't have it last week, losing 62 - 25 to Power/Dutton-Brady. The blowout was painful but not necessarily a surprise as Power/Dutton-Brady is ranked 12th in the state, 27 places higher than North Star. As for Augusta, it has to be hurting after a devastating 44 - 12 defeat at the hands of Geraldine/Highwood last game.
After their losses, Augusta dropped to 1-3 and North Star dropped to 1-2. Both North Star and Augusta have been struggling on the defensive side of the ball (the former allowing an average of 45.67 points per game, the latter an average of 47.75 points per game).
